This is a video response to a recent series titled "Refuting Calvinism" by Louis Ruggerio. These particular videos counter his position on "free will" and its affirmation in the Bible. What I will demonstrate is that the Bible does not teach any particular metaphysical doctrine of human freedom explicitly but only gives us glimpses of "choice in action". Though I didn't include it in this video series, it is clear that the Bible teaches that we sin because we are sinners. Sin is something that affects all areas of our being including our wills. I hope everything comes out as clear to you as it was to me. If not, feel free to ask questions for clarification. God bless, Moses

Oct 10, 2008 - Why would God reveal the consequences of both choices if He is not expecting us to choose?? Doesn't make sense. Duet 30:19 says, "...CHOOSE LIFE..". God expects us to choose what HE says is the right choice from the heart. If we can't choose. What is the point?

Oct 11, 2008 - Calvinism does not argue that people cannot choose. Also, there are several instances in Scripture in which we need certain thing to do the will of God but cannot unless God hismelf gives us those things. For instance, Israel is told to circumcise our hearts(Deut. 10:16) in order to truly love God, yet in Deut. 30:6, circumcision of the heart is something God must do for us. Ezekiel 36:25-27 is another passage that shows us God must give us the heart to even be able to truly serve him...
