Nov 17, 2008 - ok im not tryin to be sad or anything here and i know a few people will probably take thsi comment the wrong way, but isnt it a bit ironic that the song is called "take back the city" Its based around BElfast Northern Ireland and there was all that stuff going on with the IRA not long ago about how they wanted to take back the city and reunite ireland as one free country?

Nov 18, 2008 - Yeah this is a real letdown for me. Their previous albums were amazing! Breathtakingly amazing! They've gotten really... i duno, commercial i suppose. Seems like they're playing it safe. Maybe the fame from chasing cars has got to their heads.

Nov 18, 2008 - Oh they were giving away the last 100 tickets for the Sydney, Australia gig today in the city and they had gone on sale this morning and sold out in 20 minutes. So i lined up and was so excited... but then you had to be over 18 to get them ! :(

Nov 18, 2008 - i like snow patrol and their first 2 albums were great, Eyes Open was a bit more commercial and i didnt see what all the hype was about sure about 3 or 4 tracks were top quality (chasing cars not included because its lame) and hearing this song its better than anything on the 4th album but its still not upto final straws standard but i've heard the new albums pretty good so i wont judge it by one release

Nov 18, 2008 - Well I hate to put a downer on your theory, but they are big Northern Ireland football fans (Having the shirts etc at their gigs) so we can be about 100% certain this isn't a support song for the IRA.
