Polygamy = multiple spouces (spice) Polyandry = multiple husbands Polygyny = multiple wives On another note though, I think the main reason people end up failing at this is because both of them lack the maturity to do it. Also, to do "fling relationships" is stupid from the start. It MUST be based upon love, and personal connection between all 3 (or 4) people.......

Entering into any kind of poly relationship while still in the traditional love mindset is a recipe for disaster. The bottom line is that only the maturest of the mature can even think about doing this sort of thing. You're average John and Betty have no chance of even remotely pulling this off. Especially the open-marriage type of polyamory. That's probably the hardest type of them all.......

Sep 24, 2008 - .....Polyfidelity is probably the easiest type. It's just like a normal marriage, but with more than 2 people. A true love triange, if you will. However, that's assuming both women (or men) are bisexual. Which makes things MUCH easier. However, there have been several cases of successful non-bisexual poly marriages. Final note: Don't go poly if you aren't really poly! It's a lifestyle, not a fun fling.
