Yeah, this one has VERY LITTLE ANGST! Weird, I know. I'm the Goddess of Angst. However, I wanted to try something happier. But I can't stay away from angst--I've tried. So here's the just of it: - Lacey, Anneliese and Alice are best friends--have been all their lives. - Lacey married Darrel, her High School Sweetheart, while Alice struggled through college to learn how to run her own business, and Liese became a movie star who dabbled in design on the side. - So, Lacey decided to try and become a rockstar, and Liese gave her the in. Little did Lacey know, she would meet Sam, and completely bond with him. - Liese finally met a boy she thought could handle her quick pace, Jason, but soon found out why he was so hot one minute, and cold the next--he had a daughter. - Alice became obsessed with Dale, and started stalking him, only he thought it was funny she would even WANT to stalk him, and they quickly became best friends. - As for the angst....Lacey finds out she's pregnant and has to figure out who the father is and who she truly loves; Liese has to decide if she can actually be a 'mom' or not and slow down her life, and if Jason is 'the one'; Alice has to figure out if she can keep being Dale's friend when she's in love with him, but he's head over heels for his girlfriend. - And there you have it. A nice, minimum-angst story, that has an actual happy ending.
