*Nicks POV* "I'm sorry Mr. and Mrs. Jonas, your son is paralyzed from the waist down." The doctor broke the news like an egg. He just spilled it, straight forward, no separating the whites, or the yolks, just gave it to them straight. My mom broke down and began to cry, my father held her in his arms and I could see he was trying to be strong. "Is there any light at the end of the tunnel?" my father chocked up. "Well...maybe there is, but it's dim right now. His upper body we could save, but only time will tell for his lower half. He will have to come to physio therapy once a week and we will seem if we will get his bottom half up and running again. But don't get your hopes up. It could take a while." "My poor baby..." My mother sobbed. After a bit of crying they came back into the room. My mother held my hand and my father stood beside her. "Did somebody find Aleace?" I didn't want to talk about my injury again. I had already told everything to the police and it was painful enough living through loosing Aleace again. "No, I'm sorry. They are still looking though. It's only been 8 hours. It may take some time." My mother cooed. "UUUGH! I'm tired of waiting! Waiting for my legs to work, waiting to hold Aleace in my Arms. Waiting until One of my Fucking brothers walk through that door and actually care about me! I can't wait anymore. I just want to go back to how it was before this, before the fight, before. Just, before everything. I just want to start all over." Tears were slowly falling from my eyes as I remembered everything that had happened over the last couple of years. It pained me to talk about my brothers, if I can even call them that. I was high with anxiety and I just wanted to run. But I can't. it was like I was glued to the hospital bed. "Nicholas sweetie, I know it's hard with out them, with out her. But you have us, we love you, and I know you want to see Aleace, but you have to be patient. They have good people looking for her. They will find her. They will." My mother tried to convince me it was true, but I just couldn't believe it all. I turned my head away from her watery eyes and looked out eh window I wish I could be on the other side of. "Nicholas, look at me" my fathers strong voice boomed in my ears. "Look at me!" I turned my head toward him. He looked angry, tired, inpatient. He looked like me. "You need to be strong, like I've told you many times crying is not going to solve ANYTHING. You need to be strong, you need to be positive, you need to be tough because we WILL get through this. We always do. Wipe your damn tears and be a man Nick." His words sank in like a syringe to my vein. He was right, I needed to be tough about this, I need to be a man and fight, with or with out the use of my legs. It was 9:00 at night, my room was dead silent. I had given up watching t.v, had no apatite to eat my dinner, and my parents had gone down to the cafeteria to eat their own diner. You could hear a pin drop. Or a door knock? The person opened the door and poked their head through. Or should I say heads. "Nick...?" The first one cooed my name. "Hey dude, long time no see." The other voice made me shiver. *MAKE SOME PREDICTIONS PEOPLE!*
