July 19, 2008 It was entirely too hot...no rain this season so the melons were shipped in. This is the parade. We mainly sat under a tree behind the funeral home and suffered the heat. Too hot to do much else. My dad helped build the white oil storage tanks you can barely make out on the left (many years ago)
