Oct 9, 2008 - Yeah those Coko-SWV nails! ROTFL! Even Beyonce still rockin' makeup.

Oct 9, 2008 - Thank you! I have been preaching that shit for the longest: about how Black women shouldn't get mad when us light-skinned bi-ethnic cats go out and do us with non-Black women. In my case, most Black women "couldn't care less" like Force MD's if I existed or not. I was dead in their eyes. Thank you for bringing up the NJC Snipes/Williams/Payne scene. It's one of the very reasons why I got shitted on by Black women..including that nasty Williams-Berry rumor when I heard it was Snipes!

Oct 9, 2008 - Yeah...they are "possessive" when it comes to men. Almost stingy...like..."no, I don't want him, but you can't have him because you are not a black woman."(dumbshit) Have you ever noticed how they seem to argue with you differently than they will a dark brotha? They will talk to you like you are a bitch. I have a chick tell me in late 1996, that I was too pretty for her but, she would introduce me to her mother because she liked hood ni@@as. She was like, "bend down...oh yeah...continued...

Oct 9, 2008 - For years makeup manufacturers ignored the needs of women of darker complexions, u didn't have Iman and MAC back in those days. Why would a woman wear makeup for the sake of wearing makeup and the colors don't complement her skin? If you're of a darker complexion and wear makeup not designed for u, your skin looks ashy etc.Women of darker complexions need to use deeper tones on their skin for the makeup to be visible.

Oct 9, 2008 - ...cont. ..oh yeah...you got that pretty hair too." "no way I could date you." I was like..."THAT'S FUCKED UP!!!"
friendz71 diyorki:
Oct 9, 2008 - So,the makeup issue is not really about women of a darker complexion not taking care of themselves. The issue is whether the right products were and are available for these women to use. Okay, that's all, I think I'm done with this makeup lesson :)

Oct 9, 2008 - Part of it is this, when the hairstyles changed in the 80s. "Nappy" hair was perfect for the hi-top fade(on a guy). Dark guys or light guys could wear fades with no problem. Light women with "good hair" pretty much just continued to wear it whatever way they wanted...except for that jerri curl look. But dark women...well when the jerri curl went out of style...lockes were not in style yet...there were no afro-centric styles "in-style" that made her look soft in appearance without relaxing and...

Oct 9, 2008 - perming. After the A-symmetrical hair style(Salt and Pepa) the extensions and weaves rolled in. No make up, bad attitude, gym shoes...they were not far off from being guys. There were some light-skinned girls like that too...and we ignored them, because they had the "girly" features but they did not want to considered "weak" so they sported bad attitudes too.

Oct 9, 2008 - lol...I used to think...like...how do they go to the bathroom?

Oct 9, 2008 - This is a extremely interesting subject, the analysis of dark and light, extremely deep subject!

Oct 10, 2008 - Your logic is undeniable!!!! and it makes perfect sense!!!! keep posting video

Oct 10, 2008 - yeah man...I used to notice that too but keep this in mind. When you are talking about make up, skin care products and even hair care products....who are they designed for? White women so the lighter skinned women have an easier time finding stuff that works for them. Being the father of 2 dark-skinned girls and husband to a light-skinned wife I see the difference in available products. Not to mention most of that shit makes dark skinned sistas skin break out.
bigjayboogie diyorki:
Oct 10, 2008 - that's true..and I feel that I know way more about makeup than I cared to share with yall in here! Thank God for my son...having too girls puts you in a barbie, mac, fashion fair wilderness...
myjrpics diyorki:
Oct 10, 2008 - Its true that its harder to find makeup for very dark skinned black women but they could still find things like mascara, blush, and eye shadows to improve there looks.
KaptanSolo diyorki:
Oct 10, 2008 - good point....like using a safety razor(Gillette Atra, Sensor or Mach3) vs. using a depilatory hair remover(Magic Shave).
KaptanSolo diyorki:
Oct 10, 2008 - lol...nothing wrong with being knowledgeable about cosmetics...hell, that is a big business industry.

Oct 18, 2008 - Eazy-E = Gangsta why you saying lightskin men are soft??? Jay Z bagging Beyonce.. Skinny Ass T.I. getting lots of pussy Bow Wow,Chris Brown, R.Kelly, LL Cool J, Nelly all pimpin'...
SeanJeezy01 diyorki:
Oct 18, 2008 - Ice T is gay???? He's one of the hardest motherfuckaz...
SeanJeezy01 diyorki:
Oct 18, 2008 - Light skin men are more desired by girls than Dark skin females by men...
KaptanSolo diyorki:
Oct 18, 2008 - Sure there are exceptions...but you don't here about any women fantasizing about being with Ice-T(sexually or otherwise). They might want to get with him for his money....but not much else today. I remember when he came out with the song "Reckless" in "Breakin'". Back then, that look was cool with women. He was not as hard as he turned out to be in the 90s. He was just rapping about a DJ's skills. In fact, being in a movie about dancin' today would be "soft"...bigtime.
KaptanSolo diyorki:
Oct 18, 2008 - good point right here...
SeanJeezy01 diyorki:
Oct 24, 2008 - I guess dark skin females feel left out. Like maybe light skin men cannot represent the strong black male image, but like you said, they are still more masculine looking than white men and can easily be mistaken for a puerto rican or Dominican dude. Dark skin females on the other hand are more masculine looking than every other female, therefor it can be hard to find a partner of a different race, cause she looks to manly..if that makes sense...
SeanJeezy01 diyorki:
Oct 24, 2008 - I agree with you, however, arent women interested in every male celeb for the money? I don't think women fantasize over Flavor Flav, just because he's dark skin doesnt mean women wanna fuck him. They wanna fuck dark skin brothers like Tyrese or Tyson Beckforth, NOT Bryan Gumbell or Flavor Flav... I also think women fantasize over Will Smith or Denzel, these niggaz aint lightskin neither darkskin
KaptanSolo diyorki:
Oct 25, 2008 - Will falls in that light-skinned category and they are not fantasizing about him...just ask one. Denzel falls in the dark skinned category...and we know they all want to fuck him!
TheSargeWP diyorki:
Oct 9, 2008 - THAT'S WHAT IM SAYIN - BLACK WOMEN SAY ALL THAT MESS ABOUT LIGHT SKIN MEN BEING FEMININE AND OH HE'S A PRETTY NIGGA!? HE'S GAY! - AND SEE BLACK MEN AS MORE MASCULINE - BUT IGNORE THE FACT THAT IN MAKING THAT STATEMENT "IF THEY ARE A DARK FEMALE" THAT WOULD MAKE THEM MASCULINE AND UNDESIRABLE IN THE EYES OF BLACK MEN! - But nooooooooooo u can't say that shit - It's a one way street with alot of black women. Their way or no way.
