However she is still a close minded bigot! Many are talking about how Victoria is a pro.. what the hell are they thinking? How is she a pro? She has less 10 years experience and has been just following in the shadows of Britains dog trainers and behaviorists since 1999.

Sep 12, 2008 - Dude, I'm with ya, but you can't because Cesar never really mentions his credentials i.e. degrees, training. He just says he rehabilitate dogs. This is why some people don't like him, mostly his critics. And I didn't know Victoria was all that, I just went by her own claims. I too hate how she like "positive" - you have to stick that word in there - training works and NO OTHER training should be used EVEN THOUGH she used a dominance method in one show where she had the couple eat out of...

Sep 12, 2008 - the dog bowl to show dominance -THAT'S OLD SCHOOL, ain't it! LOL. She also used a method where she put the dog in another room which is also an OLD method. But the fact she used dominance vs. submission credits Cesar and makes her a damn liar! I personally don't use her methods. I look to animal behaviorist and real trainers. I don't hit my dog but I do treat them like dogs, not like humans, so Cesar Milan gets a point - COUNT IT!! LOL.

And the fact YOU said she uses "kind" punishment, as stupid as that sounds to use such a word with punishment, YOU don't know shit about many old methods which she has taken from to make it her own. Also, what YOU don't know is that "old school" isn't all harsh as you and her are belligerently clumping them together.

Anyway, I spoke in that tone b/c you did and you missed my point yet again. She protesting the THINGS SHE USING. She is so damn closed-minded that she thinks HER way ando only HER way is best. Animal training also takes years. She doesn't have more than ten under her belt. Patricia McConnell has the credentials. And in this respect, Cesar and Victoria are both on the same page: good amateurish trainers making money off t.v. shows. The only reason people bash Cesar is b/c the methods he use.

Sep 19, 2008 - Yes, she might not have put this the right way, but at least she stood up for her belief that old school dog training is bad. What she does still is a part of the modern school of dog training, because it is not entierly based on rewards for good behaviour. I do agree with you that there are better dog trainers out there, but still it was great that she stood up for her belief! I will not answer another comment of yours. I am kind of sick argueing anout this so much. Best wishes

Anyone who trains like him or has had their dog trained by him should get beaten. I hope Windy doesn't use that training on her little Maltese. I already hate her for defending CM, but if she uses that medieval training on a tiny pup like that, she really needs her head adjusted. :\
