Oct 1, 2008 - I saw this earlier this year thanks to the BBC. Glad to see it making its way to PBS finally, I really enjoyed it especially being a big Eels fan along with being interested in science. If you haven't read Mark Oliver Everett's book you need to do so.

Oct 16, 2008 - Thank you Nova for the complete text of the dissertation - i'm no genius but its lovely to go thru the original text and see the points where ideas can fly free from, i'm a UK based Eels fan who walked back down the aisle to "fresh fields" i've loved the eels since i met my wife, and before. The documentary should be shown to all, both for the science, and for E, he's so much more than just Shrek, keep rocking man :)

Oct 16, 2008 - Yes, i did actually mean "fresh feeling"... its late, and there's a really bad uk sitcom with that name, that clouded my typing!! :P

Oct 22, 2008 - great doc. i guess there is no string theory without his dad. kind of makes me sad that his family never got to see him make a success of his life with his music

Oct 23, 2008 - This was a GREAT show. M. Oliver Everett, you are a pleasure to watch. I haven't heard your music yet, but intend to. I would be very, very proud to have a handsome, talented son like you. That's for sure.
