Aug 27, 2008 - Evolution does not make atheism mandatory. A creator responsible for creating everything, could create VIA the laws of nature. Darwin was not alone in providing naturalistic explanations. Pierre-Simon Laplace explained the the solar system naturally. Friedrich Wöhler synthesized urea, showing that there was no "vital" element in organic material. Darwin, mechanism still leaves unanswered why any universe exists for things to evolve in it.

Sep 17, 2008 - Darwinism is nothing to do with the origin of the universey. It places a dolorous shadow of doubt over the creationist creed with its rational explanation of human origins through evolution (speciation from other primates). This worries the reigious as they wrongly think that without a creator, life is totally meaningless and nihilism is validated. We are NOT insignificant without God, rather the opposite. We can contemplate life without the need for supernatural phenomena, which demean it.
