Jan 1, 2009 - shut the fuck up, you're an idiot. its a modern day 'masterpiece' because of the superb acting, score, story, dialogue, and cinematography. sure, its not the "perfect" batman movie, but it is a pretty damn good adaptation, batfans can clearly see the connection : long halloween, killing joke, etc... its the best batman by far, and this is coming from an avid batman comic book reader.

Jan 1, 2009 - oh great another idiot. marvels alright, if youre fuckin 8 years old. DC/Vertigo owns marvel when it comes to the more mature, darker, and gritty, storylines. (see Preacher, TDKR Batman and Up, and Watchmen) Iron Man was an above average superhero popcorn flick, like the transformers or 300, nothing more, TDK was a crime epic, just like the batman graphic novels from which it was adapted from. it is also the main reason why the goddamn BATMAN is the worlds most popular comic book hero.

Jan 2, 2009 - yes dark knight is the best superhero movie of all time, but that's like being the tallest midget in the world, it doesn't mean much considering most comic book adaptations are a joke(see ang lee's hulk). It's a great movie, but 20 years ago the best superhero movie was Donner's superman, then it was X-men, then it was spider-man, then it was dark knight. I loved the dark knight,honestly heath ledger MADE that movie, batman fags can suck it because the watchmen will own your soul.

You are either Nite Owl or Rorschach you can't be both it doesn't make sense, even taking into consideration that batman saw his parents killed. But he gets his comeuppance in the end, thanks to ozymandias (oops!). Sadly, he doesn't get to die committing genocide or anything else that might reconcile with his perverse ideals. The last impression he leaves is a modest one in the sidewalk.
