Oct 15, 2008 - Thanks for your thoughts and criticisms. It's odd that the game appears so slow in your video when I play it it runs at a much faster rate. It is possible that system performance can cause a slower frame rate. I'll look into maybe seeing if there is anything I can do to make the game use less system resources.

Oct 15, 2008 - The main problem is that Gamemaker, what I used to make it, loads everything contained in the game at the start. Lowering the quality would be difficult to implement and do little if anything. I built the game so that it would have large high resolution graphics. The only thing I could do is create a light version with significantly smaller graphics and resolution. You're running the game at 1/2 speed or less, and that cuts down on the fun factor. It's meant to be a high speed game.
