In 1968 Dean Martin brought together twelve beautiful young girls who could sing, dance and act, and called them "The Golddiggers." The group was hand-picked from thousands of girls who auditioned in major cities across the US and Canada. After several appearances on the Dean Martin Variety Show, they were such a hit that Dean asked them to star on his summer replacement show, "Dean Martin Presents The Golddiggers." They went on to become regular performers on Dean's show and later starred in their own series for five seasons. In Dean's words, "I know one thing: The Golddiggers will go far because they are talented and believe in themselves, and I can't tell you how happy I am to have them around. I love youth. The oldest thing on my show is my scotch! Keep those cards and letters coming in, folks - to these kids. They're great!!"

Sep 8, 2008 - hi sylvette 323, thanks a trillion for granting my request, it was a perfect bithday present as i turned another chapter of my life.among all the versions this is indeed the best, a close resemblance to percy faith or ray conniff and the singers.you quadrupled the presentation with excellent graphics and information a mandatory rule even in doing airchecks on the air. 1974 was the year when i first fell in love with this timeless song.
