Ok so I promised 3...I'm trying!!! lol -------------------------- Joe was driving and Natalie had no idea where they were going. She was excited. He always knew how to really surprise her. As she sat looking out the window he gently took her hand in his and squeezed it. She looked over to him and smiled. Never would she have thought in a million years that she would fall so head over heels. Especially with a multi platinum selling artist. Who would have thought that she would find the love of her life at a regular day at work. Everything was happening at once she just wanted to stop and take it all in. Natalie: where are we going? Joe: you'll see. Natalie: are you lost? Joe: [pause] no. Natalie: oh my we are lost. Joe: no. look! [pointed to his right] we are here Natalie looked over to her right and saw a venue [I had a brain fart so I couldn't think of one lol] she was even more confused. She looked over at Joe who just smiled and shrugged his shoulders. She rolled her eyes knowing he wasn't going to tell her anything. They parked and started walking through a back entrance. Natalie: ok. Where are we going. Enough of this sneaky stuff. I'm so confused! Joe: just get in. it's a surprise. Natalie walked in through the door and saw a big sign that said TONIGHT: DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL. Her eyes grew wide and she began to scream and jump up and down. Natalie: oh...my...freaking...cheese...nips!!! She turned around and gave Joe a huge hug. He stumbled backwards surprised by her reaction Joe: cheese nips? Natalie: shut up! You really brought me to see dashboard! I've been trying to see them live for years! Joe: I know. And I knew they were your favorite band so I did some research and I found out they were going to be in town and I thought...hey why not! Natalie: but how did you get tickets at such a last minute time. Joe: honey my last name is JONAS Natalie: you did NOT just pull the JONAS card! Joe: oh...I...did. Natalie: I'm letting you pass this time cuz its dashboard confessional! [put finger in his face] next time I'm bringing you back down to reality. Joe: fine with me [smiling close to her face] now lets go get our spot. He held her hand and began to walk out into the crown. Natalie stopped and pulled him back. Natalie: wait. Joe: whats wrong? Natalie: you should put on a hat or something? Joe: what? Why? Natalie: cuz Joe: cuz why? Natalie: just cuz ok! Joe: that's not an answer. Natalie: cuz I don't want people to know we are going out. Joe: what? Natalie: I don't want all the attention that comes with being your girlfriend. Joe was somewhat hurt by her words. He couldn't believe she was ashamed of being his girlfriend. Joe: so you're embarrassed of being my girlfriend? Natalie: Joe...[Interrupted by him] Joe: its fine. I understand. He let go of her hand and stormed out to the car. Natalie stood there shocked by his reaction. She didn't mean to hurt his feelings but she didn't want girls pulling her hair out because she was dating him. When he came back he just brushed past Natalie with a hat and glasses. She quietly walked behind him. They found a spot and she stood next to him. She went to reach for his hand but he pretended he had an itch on his head and pulled it up. As Joe stood there waiting for the band he was trying hard to keep the tears in his eyes. He felt so bad knowing that Natalie was ashamed of being his girlfriend. All he wanted to do was just yell to the world that she was his. He felt her fingers brush his hand but didn't want to hold hers. He pulled it up to scratch an "itch" on his head. He crossed his arms and just watched the show. So much for his other surprise. --------------------------------------- Ooooooo. Trouble in paradise? Was joe over reacting or is Natalie being unfair? So for some reason everyone flakes out on being Kevin's girlfriend! What is wrong with you girls! How can you not want that boy? He's perfect! [can you tell he's my favorite? Lol j/k I don't play favorites *wink* lol] so I cant really write chapters about him with now love interest! And I know I've been keeping you waiting but the next one is about nick and sarah! Lol THANKS FOR READING!!!
