About me, you say? Well, every day is a bit different, that's why I'm Nancy TODAY! My friend calls me an 'artsy downhome lady'. I guess that fits! You'd better cover your ears now while I blow my own horn! Sometimes I'm a barrel of laughs. Sometimes I'm quite serious. Sometimes I'm hard working. Sometimes I'm lazy. Sometimes I have something interesting to say. Sometimes I don't. On account of my exceeding curiosity, I am often fascinated by the seemingly mundane. I do seem to find answers to my nature questions as I search around me. I live on 11 acres of wilderness. I have built 4 tipi for relaxation, nature watching or warmth while wandering outside. I have made 25 hammocks which hang in all sorts of scenic spots on our property. I have a wonderful husband and lots of children and two grandchildren. I love to make people happy, to make them laugh and to improve their day. I became invisible a few years ago, so I made and wear outrageous flower-covered hats. I'm locally known as the Hat Lady. I have a blog. If I decide you're safe, I'll let you read it! I used to be a freelance travelwriter, published in 33 magazines and newspapers. Better Homes and Gardens, Outdoor Life and Northwest Palate were some of the more flashy names.
