Hello, Thank you for visiting my YouTube Channel. I am a self taught banjo picker. It all started back in 1974 when I was working at a movie theater in my home town. I worked the movie Deliverance and I heard that great banjo picking that was done in the movie. That's all it took and the next thing you know my parents heard nothing but, I want a 5 string banjo. My YouTube videos are close-up views of my playing the banjo to keep anonymity. They are strictly for entertainment. My original learning skills were from listening to recordings. Then in my later years I discovered tablature for banjo. Being able to use both tab and my ear has been a big help for me. My influences are Eric Weisberg, Earl Scruggs, Tony Trischka, Bill Keith, Bela Fleck and others.
